TBCA seeks paid and volunteer ambassadors for the 2024-2025 snow season.
The Teton Backcountry Alliance Winter Backcountry Ambassadors serve on and around Teton Pass to promote responsible use and safety. Selected ambassadors provide information to users and assist where needed.
Housing is available for some ambassadors at the Bridger Teton Nation Forest bunkhouse in Jackson.
Applicants should:
· Have experience & knowledge in backcountry winter travel
· Good communication and people skills
· Be willing to serve regularly
What’s expected?
· Attend training/orientation sessions in the early season,
· Volunteer regularly from Dec 1 until April 5,
· Participate in periodic team meetings
